Buck's Bar, located at 1511 Central Avenue in Billings, Montana, has been a notable establishment since its inception in 1956. The building was constructed for Roy and Lorraine Russell, with the upper portion leased to Doug Buckman, who established the Office Bar. Over time, patrons began referring to it as Buck's Bar, a name that has endured.

In the early 2000s, Buck's Bar became a popular spot in Billings, attracting a diverse crowd throughout the day. During daytime hours, it was frequented by patrons enjoying lunch specials, while evenings drew a mix of college students, blue-collar workers, and locals seeking a lively atmosphere.

In early 2020, Buck's Bar abruptly closed its doors, coinciding with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The closure was sudden, with the establishment appearing as if it had been left in haste, with televisions and gaming machines still on and the bar fully stocked.

Fast forward and after remaining closed for nearly two years, Ted Doughty purchased the bar and on February 25, 2022, the reopening was announced via a Facebook post, signaling a fresh start for the establishment.

Since its reopening, Buck's Bar has continued to serve the Billings community, offering a lively bar and grill experience with delicious food, exciting gaming options, and a vibrant atmosphere.

Throughout its history, Buck's Bar has been a notable fixture in Billings, adapting to changing times while maintaining its identity as a local gathering spot.
